You don't learn to give an eloquent speech, ride a bike without hands, or knit a mean doily without the proper guidance, painful trial and error, and a fair share of bumbling. So, why would anyone expect you to go through life-altering levels of growth, change, and self-reflection alone and come out the other side a developed superhuman? 

Wellness is a tricky thing; and unfortunately, "emotional balance" isn't a topic they emphasize in grade school curriculum or a soul-searching cycle class you can take at the gym. Our subconscious is a powerful force, driving our actions, patterns, and habits from the shadows - often without our knowledge or consent. Right now, it may feel impossible to understand or master the issues that brought you here, but just like riding a bike, all it takes is a little practice, repetition, and the right guidance to change for the better.

A huge component of successful therapy is doing your due diligence on a counselor and therapy approach that's right for you. I encourage you to take a deeper look at who I am and what I specialize in, and then decide if having me as your counselor seems like the best fit for your needs.

BOOK AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE.

Once you've done your research, it's time to get the ball rolling. You can book an initial appointment online or by calling or texting me at 208.277.9703. During our initial consult, we'll discuss what kind of concerns are prompting you to reach out, how we might help you address those concerns, and whether treatment with me would be beneficial for you. And here's the thing...I'm genuinely here to help. If I'm not a good fit for you, I'll find you someone that is. When you reach out for help, it's my job to help you find it, even if it's not with me.

DISCUSS AND ESTABLISH AN EFFECTIVE APPROACH, PLAN, AND SCHEDULE.

Those first two steps are scary and take a lot of courage… now all you have to do is show up. As your counselor, we'll work together to assess and determine an effective, evidence-based approach for your care. We’ll figure out what goals you have for your treatment and start working towards them. The work you’ve got ahead of you isn’t going to be easy, but you won’t be alone.

Jaci isn’t what you'd expect. Graduating from BSU with a undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Addiction Studies, Jaci went on to pursue a Masters of Arts in Counseling in 2015. She is funny, articulate, and intuitive. Her counseling approach balances the supportive validation and understanding her clients have been missing in their lives with true accountability and personal challenge, the combination we all need to both heal AND grow. Jaci helps her clients understand that true healing is possible and you don’t have to do this on your own.
